He got the recipe for his cookies from his mother, but it has been passed down in his family since his grandmother. Local and organic ingredients are used in the making of the cookies.
Dante believes people are drawn to the farmer's market because of the sense of community involved in the market.
Dante said it started out strange being the youngest vendor at the market, but now he feels welcomed by the sense of community and the people in the market.
Dante can be found at the Winona Farmer's Market every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
